Clash of clans was one of the pioneers to bring a mobile adaptation to the traditional PC strategy games. The main innovation to the core gameplay was that game did not start over from scratch every time you turned off your device.
The core loop used to be – build a base, train troops, battle, win or lose and start all over again.
Mobile strategy games made your game a never-ending one.
This MMO lets players form clans, train and upgrade troops, and attack other players to earn resources.
There are four currencies or resources in the game – Gold and Elixir can be used to build and upgrade defenses and traps that protect the player’s village from other players’ attacks, as well as to build and upgrade buildings.
Elixir and Dark Elixir are also used to upgrade troops and spells. The fourth currency are Gems, which are a premium currency.
